Authentication Services

StreamSolutions offer a low cost high availability authentication service for both its audio and video streams. The authentication server is availale for Shoutcast, Icecast and Windows Media Services.

Why Use Authentication ?

Authentication can be used for a variety of reasons, from wanting a private service, to offering subscription based listening. The standard offering from StreamSolutions only allows one login to listen/watch at the same time, providing you, the broadcaster, with the knowledge even if someone gives away their username/password only one person is ever listening at once.
